![]() ![]() unlike custom firmware on the ps3, Ps3HEN has the ability to run on all ps3 model's, while many feature that are in CFW can be found in PS3HEN it does not completely replicate the CFW experience so if your PS3 has the ability to run a CFW that is the better route, but Ps3HEN is a very powerful and capable exploit. Ps3HEN is a Homebrew Enabler that is an alternative exploit to custom firmware (cfw) for models that can not install a CFW. We seen a couple weeks ago developer's and of the Ps3Xploit Team update Ps3HEN to v3.2.0, now we have a new update with the release of v3.2.1. We have seen a lot of developer's back in the fold after the 4.90 official firmware update that hit the PlayStation 3 several weeks ago. Make it still be a lonely, gripping experience.Update : PS3HEN 3.2.2 has been released. I didn't hate the snow planet and the idea of it was nice, but the tone felt too action-ey and shooter-y, especially the fights against humans. I agree with who said that the ship graveyard was the best part since it felt closer to DS1, and I would like them to keep that tone for the entire game. Everything about necromorph lore was quite good. ![]() And even Carver surviving everything felt off, since in my single player run he was just there in a few scenes where he wasn't even really likeable and the game kinda forces you to care about him and believe he's important out of nowhere (although the DLC made a better use of him).Īnd yeah the love triangle thing was awful and made Ellie took a big hit to her likeability she gets a bit better towards the end but not enough.Ĭrafting took me a while to understand it but I ended up liking it, although I'd still like it to be remade and tuned down.Īs for the story itself, I was mostly okay with it. Also, as single player I hated not being able to access some pieces of content gated behind coop. I'm sure they did cool things with the coop but I didn't like EA turning an originally SP franchise into a cooperative one, especially one where feeling lonely in the middle of nowhere was a huge part of the experience. ![]() Losing on tau volantis, but in turn realising what the end game is and that earth is next is a fine plot hook, if we didn't immediatley get there and there's moons hoovering up people. Like it should be that the weird consciousness needs a flesh vessel and then fires out the markers to other worlds so it can continue there, the moon as like a unicron idk i don' t quite like it, it's like marvel's rework of the phalanx where each world is like a neuron in a vast god mind, Like mass effect made that mistake with the reapers, going from eldritch to a vacuum cleaner with it's wires crossed deflated them completley, as did making a bunch of small fight able ones. Keep the brethren moon lore though, the eldritch side of the necromorph's was great, but it should be more like an unknowable thing, throwing hands with it then having dozens of them show up in the dlc was weird. The human necros were a bit weird, wielding axes, but i did find them threatening, and the weird desiccated necros giving a return of the living dead feel as anything that can be puppeted is puppeted. Like scrap the co-op from 3, remove the love triangle, or if co-op is a thing have the other character be ds2 style ellie. ![]() Weapon crafting is dope but some of the options are just "machine gun that works better than any of the creative stuff", and universal ammo was odd, i want random ammo and for isaac to use his smarts to cobble together something that can use it. Level design was a big problem due to being built for 2 people. Yeah it'd need a fair number of changes but i'm game As someone who didn't even hate 3 all that much, ![]()
